We still have no idea whether or not the Ohio State-Michigan game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 12, but Vegas is already sending out the spread for the annual rivalry showdown. There are a lot of points in favor of the Buckeyes.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Ohio State is already a 27.5-point favorite for “The Game.” Yes, Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines are a four-touchdown underdog on the road to their biggest nemesis. That’s not ideal.

But, that’s what happens when the Buckeyes have won eight-straight games in the head-to-head and are 4-0 on the season while the Wolverines are in the middle of a 2-4 year.

This week, Michigan was forced to cancel Saturday’s matchup with Maryland due to a spike in COVID-19 cases, as reportedly at least a dozen positive tests were confirmed. But this weekend’s game against the Terrapins may not be the only one affected.

Most teams that have been forced to cancel a game this season have also been required to scratch a second game the following week due to the B1G’s protocols and positive testing results. “The Game” is in serious jeopardy of not being played.

We’ll find out soon enough if these two rivals will be able to take the field in Week 8 or if the next meeting will have to wait until 2021.
