Purdue had quite the collapse against the Miami Hurricanes in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge Tuesday.

They were up 18 on Miami going into the second half before the Hurricanes outscored them 44-22 in the second half to win the game, 58-54.

This was the Boilermakers second loss of the season as they started out 3-1 going into this game. Their only other loss came against a fellow ACC team, the Clemson Tigers. For Miami, they’re now off to a 3-0 start.

Purdue only had two players score in double figures in this game so they have that to attribute to as one of the reasons they lost the game.

Zach Edey led the team in scoring with 15 points and two rebounds while Eric Hunter Jr. had 11 points with two rebounds.

Purdue will have a chance to forget about this loss on Saturday when Indiana State comes to town. Tip-off for that game is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
