Wan’Dale Robinson’s beautiful 47-yard run helped set-up Nebraska to get on the scoreboard.
With 14:50 left in the second quarter, Robinson’s big play split open the heart of the Minnesota defense. At the time, Nebraska was down 10-0 and looking to get on the board. On second-and-2, the Cornhuskers running back took a hand-off from quarterback Adrian Martinez on Nebraska’s own 33-yard line. Bursting through and open hole between the guards, Robinson went untouched into the Minnesota secondary.

It wasn’t until he was dragged down at the Minnesota 20-yard line that he was finally touched by the opposition. On the run, he showed explosion and pure speed.
On the next play, Martine hit tight end Austin Allen for an eight-yard touchdown pass to cut into visiting Minnesota’s lead, 10-7.
