Denver WR KJ Hamler torches entire Carolina defense for 37-yard TD catch

K.J. Hamler got on the board on Sunday, the former Penn State wide receiver putting up six points for the Denver Broncos.
A second round pick, Hamler scored a touchdown on a go-route that gave Denver a 20-7 lead over the Carolina Panthers with 11:05 left in the third quarter. The 37-yard touchdown pass from Drew Lock, came on a lofted ball where Hamler went untouched into the end zone, saw straight speed from the rookie as he simply blew by the Panthers defense.

Hamler came into the game with 27 receptions for 291 yards. Sunday’s touchdown catch was the second of the season for the former Nittany Lions star.
His first NFL touchdown catch came on Nov. 1 in a 31-30 win against the Los Angeles Chargers.
In two seasons at Penn State, Hamler had 98 receptions for 1,658 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.
