It seems like every week Washington defensive end Chase Young continues to impress us.

That continued on Sunday. Taking on the San Francisco 49ers, Young pounced on a 49er fumble near midfield. The former Ohio State Buckeye took off toward the end zone. He raced past plenty of San Francisco players before entering the end zone. It was an impressive scoop and score and his first touchdown in the NFL.

That is some serious speed there. He’s a defensive end and he’s making everyone behind him look slow. Yes, some of them are offensive linemen. But the receivers and quarterback even had a tough time trying to chase Young down.

This is just part of a great day Young is putting together. He had a sack in the first half along with making his presence known with a tip at the line of scrimmage.

After earning some hype in college in Columbus and being taken high in the draft, Young has impressed as a rookie. It’d be hard to argue if he ends up winning Defensive Rookie of the Year.
