B1G Hoops is back again with another strong week of action as we get further into the college basketball season.
The latest AP Top 25 Poll came out Monday and there are seven B1G schools in the poll, two of which are in the top five. Those two schools are Iowa (No. 3) and Michigan State (No. 4) and both of them are 6-0 to start the season.
The conference also unveiled the Players of the Week on Monday with Iowa’s Luka Garza and Illinois’ Ayo Dosunmu splitting the honor while Hunter Dickinson got the honor for the top freshman.

Dickinson was one of the biggest reasons why Michigan landed in the AP Top 25 Monday. This past week, he averaged 19 points and seven rebounds per game and also shot nearly 70% from the floor. This likely will not be his last honor as Freshman of the Week if he continues to put up these kinds of stats.
