Media, coaches reveal 2020 All-B1G Offense selections

The All-Big Ten selections for offense were released on Tuesday, highlighting the separate selections by the coaches and the media.

And while there were some discrepancies between the three lists, the overwhelming consensus points towards certain players clearly being the class of the Big Ten.

Ohio State, not surprisingly, led the way with six selections to the coaches’ first-team selections on offense, highlighted by quarterback Justin Fields and guard Wyatt Davis – both of whom project to be first round picks in next spring’s NFL Draft.

The Buckeyes are No. 4 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll as well as the College Football Playoff Rankings. They play Northwestern this Saturday in the Big Ten Championship Game.

With a win, they all in all likelihood will make the four-team playoff.

A total of nine Ohio State selections made the All-Big Ten Football Team on offense according to the voting conducted by the coaches. Seven were selected by the media.

Indiana quarterback Michael Penix Jr., despite a season-ending injury three weeks ago, made the second-team of both lists.

Ty Fryfogle, who has had a tremendous season at wide receiver for Indiana, made first-team by the media and second-team according to the coaches.

A consensus pick with Minnesota running back Mohamed Ibrahim, who has 925 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns this year.
