As every Wisconsin Badger fan knows, Bret Bielema, the current head coach of Arkansas, coached the Badgers from 2006-12. Bielema had his share of success in Madison, Wis., going 68-24 as the leader of the program.

On Wednesday during an SEC coaches teleconference, when asked about potentially playing the Badgers now that he’s been at Arkansas for a few seasons, Bielema somewhat shied away.

“We are looking for a Big Ten opponent after Michigan dropped us,” said Bielema, via seccountry.com. “Anything’s possible, but I would say that until all the players that I recruited were removed out of that program that it might hit a little too close to home myself, and working against coaches I know really, really well.”

Bielema was referencing back a couple months ago, when the Wolverines announced they were voiding their upcoming series with Arkansas, scheduled for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
