Everyone is talking about Trey Sermon’s incredible B1G Championship Game performance

Trey Sermon was in beast mode on Saturday, the Ohio State running back having a huge game.

And frankly, without his performance against Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game, the Buckeyes could and likely would be on the outside of the looming College Football Playoff. Earlier in the game, he broke the Big Ten Championship’s Game rushing mark.

Now, he’s just running for fun, leaving the record well in the rearview mirror.

Sermon’s three-yard touchdown run with 4:03 left in the fourth quarter gave Ohio State a 22-10 lead and put the senior at 295 yards rushing in the game.

The Buckeyes have scored 16 unanswered points in the second half to pull away from Northwestern. With Sermon’s big performance, the Buckeyes are likely headed to the College Football Playoff.
