B1G reportedly already rethinking 21-day COVID-19 policy with Ohio State looking at College Football Playoff berth

The Big Ten is already looking to change the 21-day COVID-19 policy with the College Football Playoff looming.
Ohio State is most likely going to get in due to them winning the Big Ten Championship against Northwestern today and if this were to change, they would get some players back that had to miss today’s game.
The report about the conference thinking about changing the policy comes from Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports who was talking to Buckeyes head coach Ryan Day:

If this were to happen, it would likely anger a lot of college football fans across the country. It would potentially look like the conference is only changing the rules just because it’s Ohio State.
It would also be interesting to see how the NCAA feels about that considering the CFP isn’t a Big Ten event. Whatever the case, the conference will have to make the decision ASAP as the CFP semifinals are on Jan. 1.
