After Ohio State hoops beat UCLA, head coach Chris Holtmann sent an awesome shoutout to the football program as they beat Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship game.
He did it during some of his postgame media availability, which is seen here:

Holtmann’s team beat UCLA 77-70 today which got the 20th ranked Buckeyes to 6-1 on the season. It dropped UCLA to 5-2.
Ohio State had three players score in double-figures today and they were led by Duane Washington Jr. who had 14 points. He also had five rebounds and three assists in the win.
Zed Kelly had 11 points and six rebounds, plus CJ Walker had 10 points with two rebounds and four assists.
The game was close the whole way through as Ohio State only was up one at halftime and then outscored them by just six in the second half.
Up next for them is a date with No. 19 Rutgers on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
For the football team, we’ll have to see who they play in the College Football Playoff (assuming they get in).
