With all regular season and conference title games in the book, all that’s left is to name the field for the College Football Playoff.

That will happen shortly after 12 p.m. ET on Sunday. It’s likely the field will include Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State, with the final spot still being up for grabs.

Texas A&M and Notre Dame are the two most-likely candidates to fill that spot. The Aggies have won seven straight SEC games, while the Fighting Irish have a victory over Clemson on their CV.

Experts are somewhat split on who they believe should be picked, but lean slightly toward Notre Dame. The Irish certainly made things more difficult on themselves by losing 34-10 to Clemson in the ACC title game.

It’s possible seeding will be unpredictable as well. If Alabama is the No. 1 seed, the committee could try to avoid a rematch with Texas A&M in the semifinals, if the Aggies are the team who qualifies for the last spot.
