When it came to getting Big Ten football back in the fall, Ohio State was one of the leading voices on that front.

Well, the move paid off for the Buckeyes. They won the Big Ten championship once again and are headed back to the College Football Playoff. Once again, Ryan Day’s squad will attempt to best Clemson and disrupt the potential for another Alabama-Clemson showdown.

It’s been an interesting ride for the Buckeyes as they’ve dealt with a myriad of schedule changes like most schools in the Big Ten. Ohio State almost didn’t get a chance at a Big Ten title. It’s safe to say this will be a season to remember.

This season has been filled with rule changes that have affected Ohio State. The latest comes in a change to the Big Ten’s COVID quarantine rule.

Now that a lot of the logistics are out of the way for Day’s squad, the focus can turn to Clemson. A season ago, Ohio State was in the same exact situation and fell to Clemson in heartbreaking fashion. Now, the Buckeyes have a chance for some revenge.

If Ohio State is going to pull of the upset, the Buckeyes are going to need a big-time performance out of quarterback Justin Fields. He recently injured his thumb, but it appears that is not an issue for the potential Heisman candidate.

Hopefully the rematch goes in favor of the Buckeyes. Stay tuned for more previews and comments ahead of the New Year’s Day kickoff.
