Iowa’s Akrum Wadley nearly scores without a shoe

Akrum Wadley is running out of his shoes today.
The junior rushed for more than 120 yards on Saturday, most of those yards with shoes on each feet. Midway through the fourth quarter, though, Wadley picked up a nice chunk of yardage with just one shoe. He nearly scored on the play, but was ruled out of bounds before crossing the goal line.
Iowa is playing Miami (OH) to open its season.
