Any time a player gets 2.5 sacks or forces multiple fumbles, they end up making a heck of a difference. When you can do both, you apparently get named the Big Ten’s Freshman of the Week.
Nelson led the Hawkeyes to a 45-21 win over Miami (OH) to open up the 2016 season.
