Indiana started off the blocks a bit sluggish against Northwestern, but the Hoosiers are looking to turn things around in the second half.
It should not be a surprise that the Wildcats came into Wednesday’s game ready to roll. Northwestern is coming off of a huge upset of Michigan State and is playing with a lot of confidence right now.
Heading into the break, the Wildcats had built a nine-point lead on the Hoosiers, but Trayce Jackson-Davis is trying to lead Indiana back in the second half.
On this play, Jackson-Davis was one of the trailers on a fastbreak attempt by Indiana. The layup attempt was no good as the ball started to roll off the rim.
That is when Jackson-Davis soared into the picture, securing a rebound and slamming it home in a single motion. The putback dunk cut Northwestern’s lead to four points early after the half.
Raise the roof, @TrayceJackson! 🙌
This putback slam is a #B1GStandout.
