Michigan State will have Joey Hauser for the Christmas Day game against Wisconsin. Tom Izzo confirmed that news in a pregame interview on Friday, per Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press.

Hauser sustained a sprained knee late in the first half of Michigan State’s loss to Northwestern on Sunday. He had been participating in practice and Izzo was hopeful that the forward wouldn’t miss any games with the injury.

Hauser is the leading scorer (12.1 points per game) and rebounder (8.9 rebounds per game) through the first 7 games of the season. He’s also shooting 52.5% from the floor and nearly 69% from the free throw line.

Friday’s matchup is a major showdown in the B1G, as the Spartans are ranked No. 12 and are 6-1 on the year. The Badgers come into the game with a 7-1 record and are ranked No. 9 nationally.

Tipoff between Wisconsin and Michigan State is set for 12:30 p.m. ET. The game will air on FOX. It’s part of a B1G quadruple header on Christmas Day.
