Though one week remains in the 2020 NFL regular season, we learned Sunday which team will own the No. 1 pick when the 2021 NFL Draft rolls around.
Thanks to some untimely wins by the New York Jets, the Jacksonville Jaguars will have the opportunity to pick first in the draft, which is set to take place from April 29-May 1 in Las Vegas.

Though we are months away from learning who the Jaguars will pick, it has been determined by most that whoever ended up with the top pick would take Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Fans have salivated over the chance to have the 2020 Heisman candidate on their squad ever since he first took the field for the Tigers.
The pick made sense for the Jets or Jacksonville, given their current quarterback situation. Gardner Minshew might have been great for memes and internet fun. But his play on the field has been anything but fun, leaving the Jaguars without a clear answer at the quarterback position.
Though the top pick likely will not be from a B1G school, there will be some names from B1G schools called in the early goings of the 2021 Draft. Expect to hear names such as Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, Michigan edge rusher Kwity Paye and Penn State inside linebacker Micah Parsons in the top half of the first round.
