Despite a nation-best 12 wins during opening weekend, CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm believes that the Big Ten will be shut out of the College Football Playoff.

After one week of action, Palm predicts that it will be No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 4 Houston in the Peach Bowl and No. 2 Clemson vs. No. 3 Stanford facing off in the Fiesta Bowl — both semifinal games set for a Dec. 31 kickoff — in his latest bowl projections.

Below we’ve summarized where he places all 11 projected bowl eligible Big Ten teams (note: it’s Sept. 6, so you can’t get too angry just yet).

Rose Bowl: Ohio State vs. UCLA

Cotton Bowl: Iowa vs. Georgia

Outback Bowl: Michigan vs. LSU

Citrus Bowl: Michigan State vs. Tennessee

Music City Bowl: Nebraska vs. Arkansas

Foster Farms Bowl: Northwestern vs. Utah

Pinstripe Bowl: Louisville vs. Wisconsin

Cactus Bowl: Texas Tech vs. Minnesota

Holiday Bowl: Penn State vs. Oregon

Heart of Dallas Bowl: Indiana vs. Western Kentucky

Quick Lane Bowl: Boston College vs. Maryland
