The three B1G schools still alive in the race for Flowers are Penn State, Rutgers, and Nebraska. Flowers is a four-star recruit out of Harrisburg, according to 247Sports. He is considered to be the 15th best wide receiver in his class and the fourth-best player out of Pennsylvania. He stands at six-feet-one and 185 pounds.
Flowers mentioned his tweet that he will be announcing his commitment on Jan. 1. At this point, the Nittany Lions may be the favorite to land Flowers. 247 has Penn State listed as “warm.” He’s been recruited by Terry Smith, Penn State’s co-recruiting coordinator, and cornerbacks coach.
Despite that, the Huskers and Scarlet Knights remain in the mix to land Flowers. No other B1G school offered Flowers. Other Power 5 teams still in the mix for Flowers include Arizona State, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, and West Virginia.
