Super freshman running back Jalen Berger is out for today’s Duke’s Mayo Bowl game. The Wisconsin star is sidelined although wide receivers Kendric Pryor and Danny Davis are slated to return from injury.

The freshman, a four-star recruit out of New Jersey, leads Wisconsin with 267 rushing yards on 45 carries. He has one rushing touchdown. He hasn’t played since Wisconsin’s Dec. 5 home loss to Indiana, having missed the last two games.

Berger leads the Badgers in rushing despite playing in just three of six games this year. Things were trending towards him playing in this game as of Tuesday.

Both Pryor and Davis have had injuries this season. Pryor is fourth on Wisconsin with 119 receiving yards this season (with eight receptions).

Davis has three catches for 78 yards with a touchdown this season.
