Joel Klatt thinks highly of Alabama. The SEC on the other hand? Meh.
The Fox Sports analyst sounded off on what has been a rough start to 2021 for the SEC, hailed universally as the best conference in college football. Georgia was down 21-10 late in the third quarter to Cincinnati and Northwestern was up 14-6 over Auburn at halftime.
I guess we can all see why @AlabamaFTBL led the country in margin of victory at 30.3 PPG (only played SEC teams)
The SEC was exactly like the ACC has been for the last few years…A one team league

And while the Auburn score wasn’t a surprise, especially since Northwestern is a quality team and ranked No. 14 in the nation, the manner in which Georgia was looking to a ‘Group-of-5’ program in the Bearcats obviously led to Klatt’s tweet. Auburn is admittedly average this year. Georgia, however, is No. 9 in the nation.
The SEC is just the Big 12 with a better Oklahoma

‘Bama, of course, is the top team in the nation and faces Notre Dame later on New Year’s Day. No. 1 Alabama is 11-0 on the year and favored heavily over No. 4 Notre Dame, who got blown out by Clemson (No. 2, 10-1) in the ACC Championship Game two weeks ago.
