Nebraska, Purdue mutually agree to postpone conference showdown

Purdue and Nebraska hoops have mutually agreed to postpone their Tuesday game originally scheduled to go down in West Lafayette.
The announcement was made on Monday evening with the reason being related to health and safety concerns for COVID-19:

Tuesday's game between Nebraska and Purdue has been postponed as mutually agreed upon by both teams due to health and safety concerns.

As the tweet from Purdue also says, they’re working with the conference to find a date to reschedule the game. The game was supposed to be played in West Lafayette.
Both teams were looking to end their respective losing streaks going into this game before it got postponed. Purdue is currently 7-5 with two straight losses to Illinois and Rutgers. Their last win came against Maryland on Dec. 25.
For Nebraska, they’re currently 4-7 and have lost four in a row. Their last win came against Doane on Dec. 17 before they lost four straight conference games.
With this game now out of the picture, for now, Purdue will get No. 23 Michigan State on Friday as it’s still on schedule to be played:

The Spartans last played on Saturday against Nebraska so here’s hoping this one is played without any lingering results from the game over the weekend.
The Cornhusker’s next game will be against Indiana on Sunday.
