Isaiahh Loudermilk not returning to Wisconsin for 2021 season

Deciding in August that 2020 would be his final season with the program, Wisconsin Badgers redshirt senior defensive end Isaiahh Loudermilk officially bid farewell to the fans on Twitter on Tuesday.

Even though 2020 was his fifth year of eligibility, he would have been able to return in 2021 if he desired, as the NCAA decided in August to not count this coronavirus (COVID-19)-shortened season as a year of eligibility for student-athletes.
A product of West Elk High School in Howard, Kansas, Loudermilk totaled 62 tackles (12 for loss), eight sacks, and two forced fumbles as a Badger, earning All-Big Ten third-team honors from the media as a redshirt senior.
A physical specimen at 6-foot-7 and 293 pounds, it is easy to see why National Football League teams would be interested in taking a chance on him.
Beginning 2-0, Wisconsin finished their 2020 campaign at 4-3, defeating the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 42-28, in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on December 30.
