Michigan basketball defeated Minnesota 82-57 on Wednesday night, improving to a perfect 10-0 on the season.

The Wolverines were so dominant that only two players cracked 30 minutes for the game, and no one played more than Hunter Dickinson’s 31.

After the game, analyst and former Purdue star Robbie Hummel explained what makes this Michigan team so hard to beat.

“They absolutely demoralized Minnesota tonight,” Hummel said. Great effort. They play so hard. When you watch this Michigan group compete, it’s honestly really impressive. I’ve been impressed with that, defensively they get after you. Offensively, think about this, Isaiah Livers might be their third or fourth option. He would star on so many college teams. But with that being said, he embraces his role and he plays it really well.”

Livers scored 14 points vs. the Gophers and is having a fantastic season overall. The senior is averaging 13.9 points per game while shooting 62.2 percent from the floor.

However, the main option for Michigan this season has been Dickinson, one of the best freshmen in the entire country. He scored 28 points in the win over Minnesota, and Hummel called him the “story of the game” in his postgame analysis.
