In addition to several other key positions, Ohio State will be searching for a new center next season.
Starter Josh Myers is going to the NFL draft. He made that announcement on Twitter on Friday evening.
Thank you to the countless people who have helped make my dream a reality. Always a Buckeye❤️ pic.twitter.com/b6Qm5lsg6z

Myers makes this announcement less than a week after Ohio State’s 55-24 loss to Alabama in the National Championship Game.
He played in all but one game this season and helped lead the Buckeyes to the National Championship. The junior had a breakout 2019 campaign, earning second team All Big Ten honors.
Myers was also named second team All Big Ten by the Associated Press this season.
He’s the second Ohio State player to declare for the NFL draft this evening, joining Ohio State punter Drue Chrisman. Linebacker Justin Hilliard also accepted a Senior Bowl invite, effectively ending any chance he will return to Columbus.
According to WalterFootball.com, Myers is the No. 4 center prospect in the upcoming draft.
