Wisconsin running back Garrett Groshek reveals plans for 2021 season

Garrett Groshek doesn’t want a second senior season at Wisconsin and he’s taking his sweet lettuce to the National Football League.
The news was confirmed when Groshek re-tweeted free-lance reporter Scott Williams’ announcement of the hearty Badger back’s decision.
Just received word from that former Amherst standout and Badgers running back @garrettgro37 will bypass returning to Wisconsin and will instead enter the NFL draft … best of luck following your NFL dream Garrett!!!

Groshek, who sports a luscious, flowing mullet, was a former walk-on in Madison who then became a productive tailback for the Badgers. In addition to three-time All-Big Ten Academic honors, he played in 41 games for Wisconsin, carrying the ball 168 times for 916 yards and averaging a robust 5.5 yards per tote. He also caught 57 passes for 492 yards along the way and totaled 7 total touchdowns in his career.
Whether or not Groshek has a shot to contribute in professional football is up to the gods at this point, but unless he shaves off all that flow there’s no doubt he’ll enter the NFL with one of the more robust heads of hair in the business.
