For 60 minutes inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday evening, Tom Brady and Drew Brees were enemies. The Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs was a matchup featuring two of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game.
As soon as the final whistle blew, though, the legendary quarterbacks shared an awesome moment on the field.
Brady led his Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 30-20 win over Brees’ New Orleans Saints, advancing to the NFC Championship Game where they’ll play the Green Bay Packers. Brady finished the day completing 18-of-33 passes for 199 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Brees was 19-of-34 for 134 yards with 1 touchdowns and 3 interceptions.
Following the game, Brees and his family were spotted on the field, and Brady was right there with him. Not only were the two quarterbacks chatting it up, but Brady was throwing touchdown passes to Brees’ kids. It was a really cool moment.

Many believe Sunday was Brees’ last game in the NFL. The longtime New Orleans QB contemplated retiring following the 2019 season, but instead decided to return for at least one more year in the league.
Brees has not made any final announcement at this time.
Brady, on the other hand, keeps his chances of winning a seventh Super Bowl title alive. The Buccaneers will play the Packers in Green Bay on Sunday with kickoff set for 3:05 p.m. ET.
