Michigan State forced to postpone third game due to COIVD-19

Issues with COVID-19 will force Michigan State to postpone another basketball game.
Monday afternoon, Michigan State announced that it will have to postpone Saturday’s game against No. 22 in East Lansing due to ongoing concerns with the virus. Multiple players have tested positive and are quarantining.

Last week, Michigan State was scheduled to play No. 5 Iowa on Thursday and Indiana on Sunday. However, due to virus concerns the Spartans were forced to postpone both of those games. This will mark the third-straight game the team is being forced to delay.
Michigan State’s next scheduled game comes on the road against Rutgers on Thursday, Jan. 28. It’s unclear whether or not the Spartans will be able to participate in that game.
This season, Michigan State is sitting at 8-4 in the regular season with a 2-4 mark in B1G play. The Spartans last played on Friday, Jan. 8, a 55-54 loss to Purdue at the Breslin Center.
