One college football analyst has already revealed his picks for next year’s New Year’s Six bowl games. A few B1G teams have earned a spot in his way-too-early predictions.

Analyst and reporter RJ Young made his early predictions for the upcoming season. He has two B1G teams reaching a New Year’s Six game at the end of the 2021 campaign, with one playing in the College Football Playoff.

Young has Ohio State penciled in as one of the four teams to play in the College Football Playoff next season, along with Georgia, Alabama and Oklahoma. He also has Wisconsin competing in a New Year’s Six game.

Here’s how Young is projecting the New Year’s Six bowl games:

Ohio State was the only team from the B1G to play in a New Year’s Six bowl game in 2020, earning a spot in the College Football Playoff. Despite strong seasons from Indiana and Northwestern, neither team got a nod.

Could any other B1G teams sneak into the New Year’s Six?
