Ohio State RB Trey Sermon hilariously re-creates viral smirk during Senior Bowl interview

Former Ohio State running back Trey Sermon is down in Mobile, Ala., for the Senior Bowl this week.
He won’t be playing in the game due an injury suffered in the National Championship Game vs. Alabama, but he did do an interview with NFL Network on the practice field.
They covered a variety of topics, including his health as Ohio State’s Pro Day is fast-approaching.
But most notably, Sermon was asked to re-create the “smirk” that went viral during OSU’s win over Clemson in the semifinal.

Good news for Sermon and Buckeyes fans: He says he’ll be ready to go for Ohio State’s pro day. Sermon also addressed what he wants to accomplish during that workout.
“Just show them my speed,” Sermon said. Definitely want to run a good 40. Let them know that I’m still a great receiving back. I can run great routes, I can catch out of the backfield very well. Those are just some of the things that I’m excited to show the teams once pro day comes up.”
Prior to suffering an injury vs. Alabama, Sermon was playing arguably the best football of his career. He rushed for a combined 524 yards in the Big Ten Championship Game vs. Northwestern and the CFP semifinal vs. Clemson.
The NFL. draft is scheduled for April 29-May 1.
