Some members of Iowa’s athletic staff are getting an unexpected workout in a few hours before Thursday’s Top 10 showdown between No. 8 Iowa and No. 7 Ohio State.
On Thursday, the Buckeyes decided to get some shots in before tonight’s 7 p.m. tip-off. After shootaround ended, Ohio State hopped on the bus and was ready to head back to the hotel to get some rest before a premier B1G showdown.
Unfortunately, due to the snow, the Bucks ran into a problem. The bus got stuck in some snow, and a few members of the Hawkeyes’ athletics staff had to come out and shovel the bus out.
Ohio State head coach Chris Holtmann posted a video:
Here in Iowa for tonight’s game. Bus is stuck after shooting this AM. Appreciate the help of these @IowaAthletics personnel. pic.twitter.com/8W0kAdD5ht

Nothing quite like a February snow in the Midwest, right?
Hopefully Ohio State doesn’t endure any additional travel issues on Thursday and everyone remains safe on the way back to Carver-Hawkeye Arena later this evening for the Top 10 showdown.
Ohio State enters the game with a 14-4 record and an 8-4 mark in B1G play. The Buckeyes have won three straight. Iowa is 13-4 overall and 7-3 in the conference and snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over Michigan State.
