Iowa will be without the services of C.J. Fredrick once again.

About an hour before tipoff between No. 8 Iowa and No. 7 Ohio State in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes announced the Fredrick will miss Thursday night’s Top 10 clash. The guard appeared in Tuesday’s 84-78 victory over Michigan State, scoring 2 points, grabbing 1 rebound and dishing 1 assist in 12 minutes of action.

Fredrick returned after missing the previous game against Illinois. He is out with a lower leg injury.

On the season, Fredrick is averaging 8.7 points, 2.3 assists and 1.1 rebounds per game for the Hawkeyes. The native of Cincinnati, Ohio is shooting 50% from behind the 3-point line this season and better than 48% from the floor.

Iowa enters the game with a 13-4 record and sits at 7-3 in the B1G. Ohio State is 14-4 with an 8-4 mark against conference opponents.

Tipoff between the Hawkeyes and Buckeyes is set for 7 p.m. ET. The game will air on ESPN.
