January 10.

That was the last day Nebraska’s basketball team had a game. The Huskers have seen four-straight games postponed, and have been forced to miss four of their last five games because of COVID-19-related issues. But that will finally come to an end on Saturday afternoon.

Saturday evening, Nebraska will take the floor in East Lansing to play Michigan State. Tip-off between the two teams is set for 6:30 p.m. ET with the game airing on Big Ten Network. The Spartans are a heavy 12.5-point favorite in the contest.

Nebraska is just 4-8 this season and is still searching for its first B1G victory, currently sitting at 0-5 on the year. The last time the Huskers’ were in action, they fell 84-76 at home to Indiana. They also lost their previous matchup to Michigan State 84-77.

Michigan State enters Saturday’s game with some struggles itself. After postponing three games and going without a game for 20 days, the Spartans have dropped four-straight games and are now just 2-7 in B1G games with an 8-7 mark overall. Tom Izzo’s team hasn’t won a game since Jan. 5.

Both teams are entering Saturday night’s game desperate for a victory.
