Less than a week ago, teams put a bow on the 2021 recruiting class and started looking ahead to future cycles. Attention will now start shifting to the 2022 class, with someone in the B1G looking to knock Ohio State from its top spot in the rankings.

So far, the Buckeyes are still the leaders with the 2022 class, looking to build upon and improve its No. 2 finish overall with the 2021 class. They’re off to a really good start, having 10 players committed, 9 of which have a 4- or 5-star rating. It’s early, but Ohio State has the nation’s top class nationally.

Where does everyone else in the B1G rank? 11 teams have at least one pledge while three teams are still waiting to get their first verbal commitment of the 2022 cycle. Still, why not take an early look at the recruiting rankings?
