A former Minnesota linebacker has officially been introduced as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles’ coaching staff.

Nick Rallis, who played for the Golden Gophers from 2012-16, was recently hired to be Philadelphia’s linebackers coach for the upcoming season. He joins the franchise after spending the past three seasons as a member of the Minnesota Vikings staff as a defensive quality control analyst.

Prior to his days with the Vikings, Rallis spent one season with Wake Forest as a graduate assistant.

Rallis played in 19 career games with the Golden Gophers and was credited with 65 tackles, including 10 stops for loss. He also forced 2 fumbles and had a sack during his college career.

Immediately after his college career came to an end, Rallis jumped into the coaching ranks.
