It wasn’t good when senior captain Riley Bullough showed up for Saturday’s game against Wisconsin in street clothes. After missing that game, the MSU linebacker is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
But now, MSU will be without another veteran linebacker.
Mark Dantonio announced that Jon Reschke will be out for a while with an ankle injury:
Michigan State LB Jon Reschke is "out for a significant time period" with a signficant ankle sprain, Dantonio says.

Reschke was a returning starter for a unit that figured to be one of the B1G’s best.
After Reschke was sidelined in the opener against Furman, he returned and had one of the best games of his career at Notre Dame. That night, he had eight tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and a tackle for loss.
How long will Reschke be out? That remains to be seen, but there’s hope it isn’t a season-ending injury:
Dantonio says he's optimistic that Reschke will be back by the end of the year.

Without Reschke, the Spartans will turn to Andrew Dowell. The sophomore filled in for Reschke in the season opener, and Dantonio said that he’ll be a “significant factor” at Indiana on Saturday.
Bullough is currently listed as the No. 2 middle linebacker behind Shane Jones. Dantonio said they’ll make an evaluation on his status before the Indiana game.
