Branden Bowen is getting another shot in the NFL.

The Arizona Cardinals have signed Bowen to the roster to add depth to the offensive line. He was originally an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State, initially signing with the Carolina Panthers. He was released before the team made its final cuts.

Arizona made the announcement Wednesday.

Bowen was an offensive lineman at Ohio State from 2015-19, where he played guard and tackle. He was the team’s starting right tackle during the 2019 season after missing all of the 2018 campaign with injury.

During his final season in Columbus, Bowen was a key member of a Buckeye team that finished the season with a 13-1 record, won a B1G title and played in the College Football Playoff. He paved the way for star running back J.K. Dobbins and blocked for future 1st-round selection Justin Fields.

Arizona ended its 2020 season with an 8-8 record but lost 5 of its final 7 contests to close out the year.
