Wisconsin’s top-rated recruit in the 2021 class has earned some personal hardware for his play on the field.

Nolan Rucci, a 5-star tackle out of Lititz, Pennsylvania was recently named the winner of the Mr. PA Football Lineman of the Year Award for Class 4-6A, according to PennLive.com. It’s a major honor for the 6-foot-8, 295-pound offensive tackle.

Rucci is ranked as the No. 15 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class and is the top overall player out of Pennsylvania. Per 247Sports, he’s also the No. 5 tackle in the cycle.

Rucci has already signed his National Letter of Intent with the Badgers.

Paul Chryst and his staff did an excellent job on the recruiting trail with this class, bringing in the nation’s 15th-ranked group. In the B1G, the Badgers sit at No. 3, behind Ohio State and Michigan.

Beating top programs for Rucci’s commitment was a huge achievement for Wisconsin on the recruiting front. And the 5-star tackle will be bringing a nice award to Madison with him.
