Steve Palazzolo from Pro Football Focus wrote up his early-season All-American team earlier today, and to nobody’s surprise, the Big Ten was highly represented.

Seven of the team’s 27 players come from the Big Ten, with four coming from the defense and three on the offensive side of the ball. Here’s who made Palazzolo’s early-season team:

Running back: Curtis Samuel, Ohio State
Fullback: Khalid Hill, Michigan
Offensive Tackle: Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin
Defensive Interior: Jake Replogle, Purdue
Linebacker: Jabrill Peppers, Michigan
Cornerback: Chris Jones, Nebraska
Safety: Nate Gerry, Nebraska

The Big Ten’s seven representatives mark the most of any conference, besting the SEC’s six.

Palazzolo’s entire team and the descriptions of each player can be read here.
