The Chicago Bears’ quarterback situation is remaining the same as it was a week ago at this time.

Starting signal caller Jay Cutler is listed as doubtful, and with that, means former Michigan State quarterback Brian Hoyer will start.

Last Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys, Hoyer completed 61.2 percent of his passes for 317 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. Despite Hoyer’s play, Chicago lost, 31-17.

This week, if the former Spartan starts for the 0-3 Bears, he will face the 1-2 overall Detroit Lions at home.
