Ohio State’s staff is reportedly getting another addition.
Sunday, Bruce Feldman of The Athletic reported that the Buckeyes are expected to hire former Kansas offensive lineman Reilly Jeffers as an offensive assistant. Jeffers has recently been a member of the staff at Florida Atlantic, where he worked under Lane Kiffin.
Per Feldman, Jeffers spent last year working at Lipscomb Academy in Nashville.

Jeffers was a long snapper at Kansas from 2012 to 2014. He is a native of Mishawaka, Indiana.
The specific role for Jeffers was not included in Feldman’s report. At Florida Atlantic, he served as a graduate assistant and helped with the offensive line.
Ohio State is coming off a 7-1 season in 2020, reaching the national championship. The Buckeyes will be entering Year 3 under Ryan Day when the 2021 season kicks off.
