Massive hit in Grambling State-Jackson State game sends QB, helmet flying through the air

It’s always a good day to watch some football, and the FCS is still providing intense action with its spring season.
One game taking centerstage during this Saturday’s slate was the Jackson State-Grambling State contest. After getting a season-opening win, Deion Sanders was trying to get to 2-0 to begin his head coaching career.
With the game close in the fourth quarter, Jackson State QB Jalon Jones also took a huge hit that sent him helicoptering through the air as he lost his helmet. Three Grambling State defenders teamed up on the hit to force a fourth down as Jones was scrambling.
No flag was thrown on the play, but Jones appeared to be okay afterward:

In the end, Jackson State would have the last laugh, forcing a late turnover to hold on for the 33-28 victory. The win gives Sanders a 2-0 start as a head coach and also snapped a 16-game home winning streak for Grambling State.
