B1G announces dates and times for men’s and women’s basketball awards

The B1G has announced when it will announce the men’s and women’s basketball award winners for the 2020-21 season.
On Monday, the Big Ten Network released a statement saying it will announce the award winners for women’s basketball between 5:00-5:20 p.m. ET tonight (March 8), via the network’s official Twitter account. On Tuesday, March 9, the winners for men’s basketball season will be announced between 12:00-12:20 p.m. ET.
Individual awards that will be presented include:
- B1G Player of the Year
- B1G Coach of the Year
- B1G Freshman of the Year
- B1G Defensive Player of the Year
- B1G Sixth Player of the Year
Along with individual honors, the All-B1G teams for both men’s and women’s basketball will also be announced.
The regular seasons for both men’s and women’s basketball has come to a close. Both are now preparing for the upcoming B1G basketball tournaments.
