The Big Ten Tournament gets underway in Indianapolis on Wednesday night.

Earlier this week, analysts over at CBS made their pick for who they think will take home the trophy.

The five panelists didn’t all agree, but they did reach a consensus: Illinois. Jerry Palm, Gary Parrish and Matt Norlander all picked the Fighting Illini, who enter the Big Ten Tournament on a hot streak.

Illinois finished the year on a four-game winning streak and grabbed a second-place finish in the Big Ten’s regular season.

There were two other opinions, though — Kyle Boone picked Iowa and Chip Patterson went with Purdue.

The Hawkeyes have been a little inconsistent at times this year, but it’s hard to question their offensive firepower. Luka Garza and Joe Wieskamp combine to form arguably the best offensive duo in the country.

Purdue has slid under the radar this year as compared to the other teams at the top of the Big Ten, but the Boilermakers are formidable. Matt Painters’ squad is likely to play Ohio State in the first round — a team they swept in the regular season.

The 2021 Big Ten Tournament tips off with Minnesota vs. Northwestern on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. ET.
