Juwan Howard’s day at the B1G Tournament ended before the final buzzer.

In the second half of Friday’s quarterfinal matchup between Michigan and Maryland, words were exchange between Howard and the Maryland bench. It’s unclear what was said or who said it, but the Wolverines head coach was visibly furious, and attempted to charge the Terrapins bench.

Howard had to be restrained by officials and assistant coaches. He was assessed a technical foul and tossed from the contest. Below is the footage of the exchange:

Sideline reporter Andy Katz confirmed that there was some sort of exchange between the two sidelines, but it was not known what was said. It was also unclear whether or not Howard was upset with head coach Mark Turgeon or someone else on Maryland’s staff.

It should be an interesting postgame press conference, that’s for sure.
