3-star quaterback prospect Tayven Jackson will apparently not be attending Indiana with his brother, Trayce Jackson-Davis.

Jackson released his top nine schools on Friday, and the Hoosiers were not among them.

Instead, the Greenwood, Indiana, native will be choosing between Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Auburn, UCLA, Florida State, Washington State, Arizona State, Arkansas and Tennessee.

Jackson is currently the No. 18 pro style quarterback in the class of 2022, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. The same service has him rated as a 3-star recruit and the No. 379 player in the country.

His older brother, Trayce, was an All-Big Ten selection for Indiana basketball this season. The sophomore averaged 19.1 points and nine rebounds per game for the Hoosiers.

Indiana has just one commitment so far for the class of 2022 — 3-star linebacker Kaiden Turner. However, Tom Allen shouldn’t have trouble recruiting another great quarterback to Bloomington. Michael Penix Jr. put up huge numbers in the Hoosiers’ offense in 2020.
