Jabrill Peppers is obviously a man of many talents. Even the most casual college football fan knows that.
Michigan is running out of things for him to do.
Back in his home state, Rutgers got a rude early reminder of that.
But Peppers isn’t dominating in the typical fashion he usually does (linebacker, return man, receiver). No, Peppers is lighting up the Scarlet Knights as a wild cat quarterback.
The dynamic Michigan sophomore ripped off a 63-yard run to set up the game’s first touchdown. Then, Peppers called his own number again and took it in for the seven-yard score:
Peppers also had a punt return touchdown that was called back because of a block in the back.
It’s early, but Peppers is already making a loud statement for the Paul Hornung Award in this one. Perhaps Jim Harbaugh will let him kick an extra point when it really gets ugly.
