Kirk Herbstreit did his homework and put Michigan in his adjusted top four

On second thought, a 78-0 victory is top-four worthy.

Ok, well maybe Kirk Herbstreit isn’t basing his entire opinion of Michigan on a blowout of Rutgers. But the ESPN college football analyst did make an adjustment to his initial top four that came out on Saturday night.

At first, Herbstreit left Michigan out of his top teams:

But instead, he switched Michigan and Washington on Sunday morning:

Herbstreit probably had a bunch of people asking him if he saw Michigan’s 78-0 victory and wondered how he could not have the unbeaten Wolverines among the nation’s elite.

It’s unlikely he made the move just because of that, but he likely saved a week’s worth of explaining why he isn’t sold on Michigan yet.
