What new Penn State head coach Micah Shrewsberry said at his introductory press conference

Penn State has a new head basketball coach.
Though it was officially announced a few weeks ago, Micah Shrewsberry was officially introduced as the next leader of the Nittany Lions’ basketball program. The school held his introductory press conference on Tuesday.
Shrewsberry’s presser is later than usual as he decided to finish out the season on Purdue’s bench through the NCAA Tournament. The Boilermakers were eliminated after a first-round loss to North Texas in overtime.
Shrewsberry has been an assistant to Matt Painter at Purdue on two different occasions and was also on Brad Stevens’ staff at Butler and with the Boston Celtics. He brings plenty of experience to Happy Valley.
Having been an assistant coach in the B1G, Shrewsberry knows building a winner won’t be easy. He says the program will have to work hard to become a consistent program that competes at the top of the league.

Micah Shrewsberry was at PSU's pro day last week. James Franklin already reached out: "I know my place at this university. I need him to help us recruit and that's huge for me. I love it. I love college football and I'm a huge college football fan. … I watch it a lot."

Shrewsberry said one thing he learned from Brad Stevens is his "detailed approach to preparation."
